Why join the Arkansas Bicycle Club? What will you get for your membership? Where does the money go?
These are all great questions and here are the answers:

When you join the Arkansas Bicycle Club you become a member of the oldest bicycle club in Arkansas. We have been around for more than 40 years and we have been registered as a 501(c)4 not for profit with the State of Arkansas and the Internal Revenue Service for more than 20 years. We are solid! We offer rides every weekend and most nights of the week for all levels of riders. We organize and promote or help promote some of the largest bike rides in the state including the Big Dam Bridge 100 and the Arky 100 Challenge. We contribute to charities related to cycling. We welcome all riders and encourage people to begin riding or ride better.

Your annual dues to the club help support our web site, pay for the organized bike rides we do each year, such as the Prediction Ride, pays for our annual member BBQ in June, supports our charitable contributions and funds our annual membership Christmas Party (reason enough to join the club).

What does it cost to join and be a part of this great organization?
A mere $15.00 a year and our new state of the art system will let you know when you are due to re-new.

This is a totally secure process and none of your credit card information is every stored by our system. The online registration is a very simple process. It requires a few easy steps. First you will enter your name, rank and serial number (well really you will choose a user name and password and the nall of your personal information). Next you will be taken to a user agreement page.You must check the "I agree" box before you can proceed.This is a standard release waiver. You will then be notified that you have been sent a conformation email. Go to you email inbox and click on the link in the email. It will take you to a secure sight to enter your credit card information. Once you complete this, you will get another email telling you that you are good to go and can log into your account using the user name and password you set up. Believe me, it took me longer to type this then is does to go through these steps. And remember, all the credit card information is completely encrypted even to us.

Due to the heavy administrative burden of family and coporate memebrships, the ABC now only offers individual memberships.
