From JBar's Blog...the Orbea Factory Outlet is becoming Spokes set to open Jan 8th.....
Settle down, all of you middle school English teachers; I'm not going to get busted that easily. In this case, "Spokes" is singular. Spokes is the name of the new bike shop that is taking shape behind the papered windows of the former Orbea store in Little Rock. I recently had the opportunity to meet with the owners and see the newly expanded space, which is still a very busy work-in-progress.....

Arkansas Bicycle Club Meeting Minutes Nov 11, 2010
The meeting, held at the Oyster Bar, was called to order at 7:00 PM by club favorite, John Linck. Upcoming rides were reviewed and more were announced:
Hot Springs Weekend - Nov 19-20
Thanksgiving Day Ride - Nov 25
Big Dam Bridge Moonlight Walk - Nov 21. Judy Lansky is looking for volunteers to help direct walkers.
There will be an inaugural bike ride when the Two Rivers Bridge opens, possibly as early as April 2011. Details will provided as they are available.
John Linck said he was looking at April 4-9 for the spring BRAA Tour but dates are not firm. Jenny Rainwater shared results of an informal investigation she and Bryan Signorelli did regarding elevation data. Program: Riders shared information about cold weather gear, including jackets, gloves, and sleeping bags. Meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM. The next meeting will be on January 13, 2011. Club Christmas Party, December 16, at US Pizza, will take the place of the December meeting.
