River Mtn. Road closure, Thursday, Aug. 6. 2009 Posted Thursday, July 16, 2009 by Jim Britt
LR Western Railroad is planning on replacing the crossing on River Mountain Road which will require closing of the crossing for a 12 hour period. This will begin early August 6 and is supposed to be about 12 hours. There is no way for a detour.

Just an update on the meeting. Yes, Chainwheel will have some brief clinics and changing flat repair and getting your bicycle ready to ride from 6:00 to 7:00 PM and people can start coming over to El Chico on Breckinridge anytime after 6:30 PM. Arky 100 registration is open online. I'll bring applications also. You should have the Arky shirts available Thursday night (and your bib number) if you are pre-registered.
